Purgatory-My second Doom WAD

This is my second try at Building a Doom map. My first map was an Ultimate Doom, So I thought I'd have a go at building a map in good ol' Doom 2.The map is inspired by Inferno, Thy Flesh Consumed and a little bit of Sigil. The map has a mostly hellish, cavernous vibe with difficulty being around the latter parts of Doom 2. Should take around 15 minutes to complete. I really hope you enjoy. Replaces Map 05 of Doom 2.

  • IWAD: Doom 2

  • Gameplay: Singleplayer
  • Difficulty settings: Yes
  • Multiplayer placement: No
  • Build time: Two months( more or less)
  • Requirements: freelook and jumping not permitted, nor is it necessary

@Silhou3tte your map is unnecessarly hard not bad but also annoying. I finished it in UV about 20mins. I won't spoil anything what inside of it but as I said if a newbei or a person with no patiance most probably hate your map and give up.

 

So my points are:

 

Map design             3/10 

Monster placement  7/10

item placement       7/10

Music                   10/10

 

Over all             6,75/10

I was worried about the difficulty being too high. I wanted to make the map challenging, but also give the player some advantage over the opposition. I'll keep your criticisms in mind for any other projects. Thank you for your time.
