StalkerBlade Posted January 11, 2021 While on my Doom hiatus, I was thinking about what I wanted to do with my Star Wars mod. Don't want it to be another game play mod, because that's been done quite a bit...Don't want to spend 100 hours on each map, delaying a release even more and making everyone wait forever...So, I thought of something that I think would be perfect for it. A game pack. Something mappers can just load up in Doom Builder and have all the resources they need to make a map for a star wars game. I think if all goes well you could get some mapper lads to help you out with an "official" campaign after you've released the initial pack. Inspired by beta maps and Doom 64, gonna basically make "dimensionally altered" versions of my favorite maps, spin them and make them all weird and "hellified". Big emphasis on combat and stand-offs. Lots of colored mood lighting too. At this rate the level has taken on a life of it's own so we'll see what happens. Working title of the .wad is 'Twisted Homecoming' and I'm really set on the name 'Wound in Reality' OR 'Wounded Reality' - any feedback, hit me I'm all ears. 8 Share this post Link to post
