QUESTION 1: How do you set what a difficulty does?

 

QUESTION 2: How do you override difficulties? Whenever I add in another Nightmare, I get two nightmares.

If you're making this for G/ZDoom, you can define skill settings in MAPINFO

clearskills then re-define skill settings, you can re-use default ones
