Quote

(Text is from README.md):

Raze is a fork of Build engine games backed by GZDoom tech and combines Duke Nukem 3D, Blood, Redneck Rampage, Shadow Warrior and Exhumed/Powerslave in a single package. It is also capable of playing Nam and WW2 GI.

The game modules are based on the following sources:

Duke Nukem: JFDuke, EDuke 2.0, World Tour extensions from DukeGDX and some minor fixes from EDuke32.
Redneck Rampage: Nuke.YKT's reconstructed source available in the Rednukem Git repo.
Blood: NBlood.
Shadow Warrior: SWP and VoidSW.
Exhumed/Powerslave: PCExhumed, with some enhancements inspired by PowerslaveGDX.

Woly shit! I did not know about this port, so I got Shadow Warrior Classic and man, does it feel good to play now - especially compared to the Redux release. Of course, this does not fix all my issues with the Build game (why will my sword not hit those koi fishes?!?), but it makes the game much more enjoyable now. Build games in (technically) GZDoom, who would have thought? :P

I've played hours of shadow warrior redux don't know what people think is wrong with it, in the case of blood I just stick to nblood or bloodgdx fresh supply screws with me. How accurate is raze with both?

I do not know, Redux's controls feel floaty to me and it does not always feel like my shots are connecting with the target.

the crosshair in redux and dos is aligned incorrectly making missiles harder to fire, but I agree on the controls being floaty.

I've been using Raze 0.9 lately, but I checked this version out and it works pretty well aside from an visual problem that happens when using the Vulkan renderer option:

I've used the Vulkan renderer with Raze before, but this is the first time I've seen this glitch happen. The OpenGL renderer is fine, though, so I'm gonna use it for now.

As Cacodemon345 said, the bug is already under investigation.

a couple of people, me included, have had success working around the visual corruption bug by enabling 4x MSAA. No idea why that works..

I don't know why it works, but MSAA 4x and above seems to get rid of it, anything below 4x doesn't seem to work.
