It's the spaceship from GALAXIA.WAD, from 1994:

 

 

Spaceship escape-ship thing. The level is inspired by a Czech comic, and I did a bit of googling and found this, which makes me wonder if the design was based on the little spaceship in the strip:

 

 

The big spaceship looks like a rip-off of the Battlestar Galactica, and the overall thrust of the plot resembles The Black Hole. I wonder if it was based on a Czech TV show that used stock footage from Galactica?

My sector art is too blocky to be a true doomcute, but have this sector tress.

Each hiding a cacodemon, and thanks to mid texture trickery I have acheived a full 3D effect.

What I make nowadays doesn't really have doomcute stuff in it. Not really a fan of using smaller than the 8 pixel grid setting, or disabling "snap to grid".

 

...the stuff I made more than a decade ago, though?

How about a stay in the captain's quarters? There's a book on the desk, or you can sleep in a bed with a nice thick sheet (no pillows though, sorry).

So I tried recreating the home I live in..Though setups in a few rooms have changed since this as this map was scrapped in 2015.
