This is great! In all it's simplicity. (I would've made custom textures for pipes myself etc but it might lose that doomish charm)

Really cool organ! If only you could choose what to play (it'd be difficult to implement for sure). I just wish you'd have some other wooden texture choices. I've grown so tired of seeing the same wood panels etc from the default textures. This is of course only my opinion. BTW. Is the wad available anywhere?

 

Speaking of Doom's wooden textures I've grown tired of in general, I feel that bookcases are the worst offenders. Seen 'em in too many levels and images, feels like everybody goes for the same default wooden bookcases. Seems like good bookcase textures aren't too easy to come by? Been going through a few resource packs. If anybody has some good bookcases (or a decent camera, day off and a library near by :D) I'd appreciate 'em! I'm trying to avoid all default wooden Doom textures in my projects.

I wanted to limit myself to only using the vanilla Doom 1/Doom 2 textures or textures based on them. I try to avoid using the wood textures for walls except in areas where it makes sense, though.

Yes, I use psx colorlighting very often, especially in techbase and hellisch type of maps. It gives such a atmospheric vibe.
