Steve D Posted December 17, 2017 ***WARNING!*** Potential seizure-inducing video from the '90s. That said, this is one of my favorite songs, and the staggeringly beautiful goddess Saffron is one of my favorite singers. I put up a live version of this one awhile back, so here's the studio take of the American version, which is more rocking than the original British version. It's also the one the band still plays today. The video is polarizing, to put it mildly. It's perhaps the most extreme example of the old MTV video-information-overload approach of fast cuts, pulsating zooms and assorted IMO moronic video effects ever produced. Can't help wondering if they edited this on a nonlinear system or a Sony video deck with A/B roll from separate frame-accurate VCRs.
