the resistance. wad ( not released )

the resistance is a wad I'm working on that tells a story.

 

the story is that you are in a world where doom guy never existed and so the demons took over earth and very few humans are left. so the do the best thing, build a resistance. you play as Jhon gravy, a member of the the resistance who has been capture by the demons who they find out are smarter than ever and have made high tech buildings. today is exacution day and you kill the killer and now you must escape and get back to base.

 

the mod has only five levels and custom music

 

later today the first level will be shown by a video by @PeceMan

 

it shall be up for download "when it is done".

UPDATE: the mod will be take a bit more time due to the computer that has the wad is at my moms house but i cant go there due to my sisters surgery.

bit of advice, maybe wait until the wad is more finished before making a topic about it. It's not very motivational when you have nothing to show.

well it is but i need to finish somethings my play tester told me to do.

I'd still say that in the future it's better to wait till like, 2 or 3 out of 5 finished maps before making a thread

How about wait until you have something to show before creating a thread for it? It's not doing you any favors to make a post that just says you "will" post something "when it is done."

Usually, when there are these Not yet released threads, it's when there is something to hype about. So there are screenshots of the levels, maybe a trailer. Maybe an announcement by a huge mapper who hasn't been on the scene in a couple of years, or maybe it's a sequel to a project (like the BTSX 3 thread). In the future, if you have a WAD like this one where you want to build hype around it, at least have some images of the Beta levels, because now you're building up excitement despite not having any product to share.
