***FrantikDM*** A New 32-map Otex Using Deathmatch Duel Pack!

Looks interesting, although I never play 1v1 unless I'm waiting for more people to join the FFA. But it looks like these maps could still handle 3 or 4 people?

Anyway, on LZDoom it's fine, and the levels look amazing. Obviously OTEX plays a major helping hand but you use it well, and your architecture is solid. Glad my music has found a home here.

Yes, I would say a good third of them would be great for upto 4 player FFA, and another third would work alright. One third of the maps will probably be too small for that, though! But yes, there should be a lot of fun with FFA, as well! :)

Hmmm, curious - it almost seems like its having some kind of issue with the 'Boom Switches' lump in Otex1.1. Fortunately everything seems to be working in the usual multiplayer ports! Weird that that's happening... I'll have to see what I can find out! Oh, btw, your 2 tracks are on map10, and map23! :)

Nice to see some DM mapsets come out! They look gorgeous and fun.

There are definitely some really cool maps in this set that deserve a closer look! Like any set, sure there are some less interesting or weaker sets but on the whole for such a large offering this is pretty decent for 1v1 and 4 man FFA. It's absolutely worth checking out for some quick frags with a few friends.

 

Congrats on putting it altogether and making an announcement!

Can't believe I somehow missed this thread, these maps are really good to move around in and they're nice on the eyes too - can't wait to have some real time frags in them soon!

Just sent in a request to have this beauty approved for EXP on the ZDaemon wad list (alongside BourgFix and Twango1). Once it's approved I'll have a permanent servers for all 3 on the ZD cluster!

You'll be pleased to know that I am only a mere 2 maps away from having my second deathmatch megaWAD done - well, at least a 'test build' of it! :)
