This wasn't nearly as stressful as the 10 minute map thing and I actually had fun 

 

I didn't do any custom music or whatever but you can feel free to add a song to it or put it wherever you want so hopefully I can pass it on now and we're good

 

I'm off to snoozeville

If we are submitting one or two balance/bug fixes done a day after here's a fix for my second map that adds the damaging sector and a teleport closet at the end to soften the cyber grind done in 2-3 minutes

Alright, here's what I cooked up eventually, let me know if I need to change the map number or remove the music or anything else!


Map Name: The Sewer Level


Author: Knifeworld


Music: "Floor 6" from Corridor 7: Alien Invasion, Instruments edited a few months ago to fit DOOM better.

Format: Boom Format - Doom 2


Difficulty Settings: None / UV only


Build Time: 1 hour + 15 mins. With roughly half an hour of playtesting and balance tweaks..


Comments: Went over the limit a fair bit but had fun and came up with something playable.
Some midtextures can be seen near slimefalls, but I didn't notice any other visual mistakes (apart from ones I fixed during testing)..


Tested in: PRBoom-plus (UMAPINFO fork)


Tested with: -complevel 9

Map Name: Mandatorianism

Author: MFG38

Build time: ~57 minutes

Music: "Kitchen Ace (and Taking Names)" from Doom (E1M4), composed by Bobby Prince

Difficulty settings: Not yet, will add later if allowed/needed.

Tested with: GZDoom 4.5.0, PrBoom+ 2.5.1.5

 

Description: A small but semi-hectic techbase(ish) map because every community project needs a techbase(ish) map.

Are there still some slots left? I whipped up this map up with 5 extra minutes on the clock.

This is my first published map, so it might be a bit rough, but I gave it my best.

The map was made with the vanilla format and the midi used is Dr. Wily Stage 2 from Mega Man 9.

Edit: Forgot the name of the map, it's called Dry Bleeding, and it comes with no custom sky.
