Martin Howe Posted January 30, 2022 (edited) Flooding related derailment at Haddiscoe. Note how the ballast has been washed right from under the tracks into the adjoining ditch; those rails are for 2m the only thing holding the train (nearly) upright 😲 Video of the actual flood rushing through is in the linked press article!         3 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted February 3, 2022 (edited) Taken last week in Utah: Â Chinese Arch, Golden Spike National Historic Park. "Framing" achieved by backing into a small alcove nearby and using wide angle. Â Tracks very near the golden spike itself. Â ATK Thiokol Rocket Display. If that name sounds familiar, then yes, that big one on its side is a space shuttle booster rocket, O-rings and all. 9 Share this post Link to post

Murdoch Posted March 14, 2022 Went on an adventure up the coast with my dogs. Swam with them for a bit and managed to get a couple of quite creative shots of them swimming up close. Oh and the area is gorgeous too. 9 Share this post Link to post
Grazza Posted March 14, 2022 (edited) First two at Valley of the Gods, Utah: Â Ship Rock, New Mexico, in the snow. The weather had cleared up somewhat. Earlier I had been at Monument Valley and couldn't see a thing, despite being only about a mile from the Mittens. Â OK, here's a normal photo: Goblin Valley State Park, Utah 7 Share this post Link to post

For about 20 seconds, then she'll get bored. Â Cute kitties though :) I never thought I would be a cat person. Lippeth Posted May 12, 2022 (edited) I took it out for its monthly* cleaning, unscrewed the panel, got my fingers around it to pull off...and it exploded in my hands with the slightest pressure in the most dramatic fashion. I'm just glad it didn't happen on my desk. Edited May 12, 2022 by Lippeth 6 Share this post Link to post

Dragonfly Posted May 13, 2022 Blimey! That's awful; though I guess it'll be easier to get in there and clean? idk, trying to find the silver linings, heh. Was weird leaving a like on that post, I don't like that this happened to your PC.... but yeah. 1 Share this post Link to post

And pigs they are! Nothing like breaking the mood of a good thriller by hearing the squealing yapping of a hungry pig. 1 Share this post Link to post
