Stupid Movie Quotes

Recommended Posts

This christmas, my brother got me a dubbed japanese action/comedy called Meltdown. This movie features some of the cheesiest dialogue i think i've ever heard, and it's no good for me to try to post many - You'd just have to see the movie to know exactly what i'm talking about. One of the quotes is in my sig tho (That one's just stupid and self-explanitory.)

Can any of you guys else think of some of the cheesiest dialogue you've heard in movies/TV?

Typical Scooby Doo script:

"So you're the Glowing Green Monster of Jerkoff Swamp!"
"And I've of gotten away scot-free if weren't for you meddling kids!"
"Well, kids, I've got to hand it to you - you're good!"
<insert dumbass laughter here>

Just watch the movie XXX (the one with Vin Diesel, not some porn flick :P).

As highly entertaining as that movie was, it was truly a godawful movie and the dialogue is even more awful, especially Vin Diesel's corny one-liners...

"This is gonna be one helluva trip!"

"Now this is what I call powder!"

"The things I'll do for my country..."

"I told him smoking was gonna kill him."

Anyway, if you've seen the movie you'll know what I'm talking about =)

Mission Impossible 2:

"We just rolled up a snowball and threw it into hell."

Heh, yeah Triple X was pretty freakin bad.

from the sounds of it, vin was trying to be just like james bond. but james bond had many years to get a reputation. vin just has people liking him due to looks/one "good" movie.

From a really, really bad James Bond ripoff I saw once. Just after Mr. Bundt killed this fanged assasin chick that was trying to seduce him...

"Fangs for the memories. Fangs ain't what they used to be, eh?"

Speed 2 has a few, but I can't remember any right now.

However, I can remember one scene in particular that is about as ridiculous as they come. Near the end of the movie, the vilian was flying a private plane, most likely trying to escape, ends up slaming his plane head first at near full speed into a flimsy, wobbly pole on a big ship. Now get this...the plane just stays there stuck in the pole!

I guess basic physics wasn't in their budget...

Wow, that was weird...i saw ravage's avatar change right before my eyes (in a way)

BTW, i refuse to see that shit Vin Diesil, because he's a fucking moron. Lame ass, has to fall back on a bunch of useless special effects. Too bad they can't invent one special enough to take away that extra chromosone...

I can't remember the exact quote, but the entire theater busted out laughing at this quote...which seemed like it was supposed to be serious:

"Well, I guess there's a little Godzilla in all of us."

It's from Godzilla 2000 (the last Japanese Godzilla released here to my knowledge).
It was said when Godzilla had just killed the bad-guy in the movie right infront of the main charater and that girl named Io. Then Godzilla went on to destroy some more buildings.

Imsomniac, Arnold uses that line in several movies to pay respect to Terminator. In fact, he was trying to say it in EVERY movies he's made, but I think he finally gave that up a few years back.

In any case, "I'll be back" has been in at least a dozen arnold flicks that I can think of.

Come on people. "I'll be back" isn't cheesy dialogue at all, just a bit over-used.

One line from Voyager has been accused of cheesiness: "Get the cheese to sickbay". It was said by B'Elanna and the episode was called Learning Curve.

"Yeah, yeah, 'You'll be back.'"
"... How did you know I was going to say that?"
"You say it in every movie!!!"
~ The Last Action Hero

Ahnold's best movies are the ones making fun of himself.

Heh I also hate those stupid arsed sitcoms with the "All-American" family which consists of:
The Older Brother - He's of course a hot stud and doesn't realize it all. Most of the time he's also a dumbass.
Little Big Sister - Looks really good, acts and dresses really slutty, and like Big Brother, is a dumbass.
Annoying-Ass Little Brother - Spouts smartass one liners nearly all of his lines the entire show. No one notices them though, and they never laugh at what the little prick has to say. I know I don't.
Little Sister - Very reminiscent of the AALB, which means that I cannot abide her.
Mom - Acts like a "real" mom is supposed to - lets her kids get away with anything. Laughs and smiles when the family kids trade dumbass one liners at each other.
Dad - Utterly generic "working man" who works at, where else, the office. This means that he really doesn't work at all. He's a lot like the Mom, only he tends to ignore his children sometimes.

I command you all to watch Evil Dead 2 + Army of Darkness.

Evil Dead 1 was also good (even though a first-effort production). Evil Dead 2 is actually my favorite movie of all time. I've got all the super-deluxe DVD versions of each of the movies.

OOOOOOOOK !!!!! (said by Jacquouille all the time)

The Visitors - The Visitors 2

The first movie (only in French) was the best of the three, it so damn stupid . With Jean Reno and Christian Clavier.

Tia Carrere in "Showdown in Little Tokyo" had what is, in my opinion, the single worst and cheesiest line in the history of movies. And I've seen Troll 2. Dolph's character had said to Tia's character early in the film "You won't see me coming." After boinking ol' Dolphy, Tia somehow manages to keep a relatively straight face and says...

"That time, I heard you coming."
