DSDA-Doom - 7

Eternity - 1

GZDoom - 1

I do use other source ports as well, but I only use them for special reasons, such as using ChocoRenderLimits for vanilla doom stress test, ZDaemon/Zandronum for multiplayer, etc.

Currently it is;

DSDA-doom - 8

Chocolate doom - 1

I have recently moved over from pr-boom plus to DSDA so this is probably the most accurate breakdown. I do have gzdoom on my laptop but rarely (if ever use it because I haven’t really had the time to play mods that require it, same with Eternity though I really need to play heartland).

Zdoom: 6

I use it literally for everything except slaughtermaps (because some of those make my framerate drop to like 5 fps) and mapsets requiring gzdoom

prboom: 2

Gzdoom: 1

If you're going to group woof / pooch and dsda-doom / prboom+, I think it would make sense to group crispy / choco for the final counts.

PrBoom+ - 6

GZDoom  - 3

Just familiarity.  Favored a port that can record vanilla compatible demos; never mind that I'm not really grinding speedrun demos these days.  PrBoom+ is my general go-to with GZDoom there for stuff that requires a ZDoom derivative or when I want to play with the -ressurect console command.

GZDoom 7

prBoom+ 2

I actually prefer the prBoom+ look and would switch to it full time if it counted Lost Souls and resurrected monsters. But so far I'm only using it for super large maps.

Odamex: 4, since I'm coding stuff on it quite regularly.

Zdaemon: 2, although I plan to bring it back to 3 after some sort of project that's planned very soon.

Crispy-Doom: 3, but only for demos or MP demos.

However I'm also looking at DSDA-Doom and its source for some time already, it's looking very promising for full heretic/hexen support :)

Odamex: 8 points

GZDoom: 1 point

I have many ports installed but 99%+ of my time playing Doom, either single player OR multiplayer, is on Odamex. I will rarely use GZ if it's to play a wad specifically built for it. I use Eternity and Zandronum as well when a particular wad (either sp or mp) calls for it, but not nearly enough to put them on this list.

PrBoom+/UMAPINFO fork: 7 - for playing vanilla/Boom/MBF compatible maps without fancy graphics and unnecessary bug fixes.

Zandronum: 2 - because my PC does not handle GZDoom
