Go ahead skip it and the Apocalips demos, just found out I accidentally misspelled the -complevel parameter in my command line lmao. I'll probably rerecord this demo at a later time though.

I think you can simply use imp/ caco fireballs and with some patience the obstacle will be removed :)

I suppose that's true, but it would be pretty slow and not very fun IMO. Now that I think about it, getting through the red key apartment Pacifist would probably be a like a 1 in 1000 attempts kind of thing as well, for non-TAS at least...

I decided to honour your effort with my own and tackle it in earnest, and it turned out to be a lot less of a mess than I anticipated and honestly even kinda fun to play when things went right. Definitely wouldn't have thought of doing it if it hadn't been for your demo though, which also gave me some ideas for route improvements (grabbing blur and soulsphere at the start technically loses about 10 seconds but it adds so much survivability that I can afford to play fairly riskily for the rest of the run)

This one is a doozy. Originally I figured out a route in which you use 2 vile jumps to get into the teleporter that's initially hidden in the rock with the viles on it, foregoing the whole blue key pyramids section entirely. It was very tight and very tough, and after spending a few hours struggling with it... I randomly found myself teleported from the intro directly to the 2nd half of the level. So I opened the level in UDB and it turns out the intro area contains three teleport triggers 256 units apart that take you to the sandy area with the towers and viles, but after that there are also triggers that take you to the 2nd half of the level. And it turns out that because you're on a scroller and can wallrun north, it is in fact possible to skip the first three teleporters. So the run became not only a minute faster but also way less of a pain. Well, I didn't find a very consistent setup for the skip, but it's much easier to grind the first 3 seconds of a level as opposed to the first 30-60 :]
