It amazes me how anyone can complete a map in an hour! It’d take an hour for me to craft a couple of rooms and a door between them, unless I just resort to default UDB textures of choice.

Difficulty Settings: No
Gimmicks Used: Don't wake up the SS, Don't wake up the Revenants, Shotguntrap-within-a-shotguntrap, Scary map, Castle map.

Build Time: 60 minutes

Comments: Important: the SS'ers have some kind of evil magic. So don't shoot the SS'ers, or shoot when on Green Marble, if you want to complete the map!

First time making a map in 1 hour. It was lots of fun. I used the table from a map I made for Summer of Slaughter. I'm not sure about the map name or the music: I might change those later.

Sky: Couldn't find a beachy sky that didn't break: will have to change later

Format: Doom II limit-removing

Difficulty Settings: No, will have to be added later I guess
Gimmicks Used: Included a beach, 5 archviles, 5 secrets, a metric shit ton of imps as the opening fight, and 2 useless keycards

Build Time: 60 minutes+some minutes fixing stuff

Comments: Second one-hour map of the day, woohoo!. Thank you @MAN_WITH_GUN for suggesting the names for both my maps.

[4] 5 ARCHVILES!!!

[6] A D-Day-esque beach sequence.

[7] A comical amount of barrels.

[8] A beach on your map. Pool towels optional.

 

Build Time: Roughly 50 Minutes

Might be interested in this. Only headache I have is my UDB sometimes has several mins where it locks up. I suppose I'm not actually mapping while it's freezing so it's hardly a cheat (plus I could spend 10hrs on a map and it'll still look like I spent 10 minutes on it XD.

Build Time: 1 hour (and seven or so minutes)

Comments: Trivia night aficionados take note! This is my earliest submitted map in PUSS history! It's one of a very short list of maps made before the first set deadline.

Comments: Doomguy is coming back from his Summer Of Slaughter, but the demons had to stop him again!!!! (its supposed to look like the beginning of the silent cartographer in halo ce, I cant really do much in a hour)

Comments: Our buddy Bobby has been with the PUSS group for a while, but unfortunately, has not finished most of the maps he’s started with us. Glad to see him make one for AUTS! The first time I watched him map, he created a 30 minute speedmap he deemed as bad, but we got a kick out of it. One of the other in chat suggested “Caco Valley”, and Bobby ran with it. It’s been a running joke, but I asked him if I could make an homage to it for this event. “Hell F***ing Yeah” was his response. So here is “Nobody Told You About Bobby?” aka “The Return to Caco Valley”. It’s got ~180 monsters, retains most of the same flavor as before, with a bit of changes.

Comments: After Rudy destroyed the Singular Barrel, it was widely thought to be gone from this universe. But looks like some of its energy has reincarnated into a cyberdemon with barrel related powers! Be careful, he don't play fair.

Build Time: hour and some extra for bugs and adding resources to make this miracle of doom mapping at least somewhat beatable

Comments: Good news from Sandy's City! Nukage has lured enormous hordes of imps there. They have drank all of it and city has been drained from sludge! On other news, city is now filled with metric shit ton of sludge drunk imps. It seems its time for a professional to clean this mess for once for all. Don't worry about briefing, there is arrows pointing to everything important, its called level design.

Comments: Map number 4. More difficult than I thought it would be. Happy with it. It's been nice to challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone. Scary and resource driven instead of all out blasting.
