wolfmcbeard Posted October 31, 2021 (edited) After a year of delays I am proud to present DeadTech, This wad is shooting for both Doom 3 and Doom 64 in look and atmosphere and Doom 64 with the enemies and weapons courtesy of @Immorpher's Morph 64 mod and awesome textures from @ukiro's Otex. This is a current beta version so you may encounter bugs or other issues not found in prior testing Maps may vary a bit visually or in terms of gameplay, some being more simple while some being quite modern in style, I wanted people to have an opportunity to do what they felt fit the three themes, Techbase, Hellbase, and Helltech, while staying true to the inspirations of the project and the result is 14 maps that are a blast to play through and action that may leave you hungering for more as you fight your way through collapsing corridors and hellish facilities to obliterate the demonic horde. Rudolph Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) I admit, it took me a moment to realize that this mapset is for vanilla Doom and not Doom 64: Retribution. Anyway, good to see reworked sprites. Rudolph Posted November 2, 2021 (edited) @wolfmcbeard Tried again: I get the Unmaker that the Cyberdemon drops, the weapon gets raised, but immediately gets lowered when I try to shoot with it and I cannot select it again. I assume it uses the "Corrupted Matter" the Demons drop as ammo, but even then, I just cannot seem to be able to use the weapon in MAP01. Is this on purpose? 0 Share this post Link to post

I adore the lighting, the new animations on the 64 weapons are superb and MAN I was not expecting the first map to be so goddamn mean. @Aquila Chrysaetos was that your doing? Feels like the kind of thing you'd do, young lady. If not? Whoever made that map: You're a bastard ;^P lmao. A moody and malevolent start for sure.
