As an ant, I had been playing video games since the rad 80s starting with Pac-Man, arcades, etc. I fell love in classic FPSes like DOOM too. ;)

It's using the Doom game for an experiment, but the rat is not actually playing Doom. The map has an extremely simplistic geometry (just a straight corridor), the only actions are "move forward" and "attack obstacle", exit doors are not opened, just clipped through, and the poor imp has been nerfed so it cannot even defend itself.
