D5DA (Dubzzz's 5Minute Design Assembly) is a speed map compilation that was hosted in the DSDA Speedrunning discord. It was inspired by the 5minmap megawad collection. With that said these maps were made in 5 minutes BUT you had time to playtest/make balance changes after those 5 minutes. 

 

Note from GarretChan: You have to use more time to do the demos than the time used for making the map. Otherwise the demo will be considered low effort and won't be uploaded.

 

Post your demos for D5DA here. It's a boom-compatible mapset by multiple authors. The suggested naming convention is d5daXY-ZZZ.lmp, where XY is the map number and ZZZ is the time. Replace the "-" with a letter to represent categories such as NM (n), fast (f), tyson (t), pacifist (p), nomo (o), etc.

D5DA should definitely get its own thread, but it might be better to wait until the wad is on idgames, even if it won't be updated :)

I used to lead with rockets here, and I thought the bfg was a distraction because of all the weapon switching. Using rockets, I was prioritizing killing 3-4 revs asap, so I decided to just do that with bfg and try to get the ball to kill an archvile. Hard fight, but good
