[MOD-HUD] Mortal HUD: for Vanilla-DooM & Smooth-DooM

I've managed to create something similar to MortalHUD, check it out:

And so I owe the devs an apology for spreading incorrect information: DSDA-Doom does support external HUD addons!

Hi everyone, I've uploaded a new version (and updated the main post for my "Tweaked" variant)

 

- added support for "Brutal Doom Lite"
- added support for mod thats provide access to more keys than vanilla
- cvar-based settings (with menu and translation support)
- pk3 contents reorganization (with lump filtering)
- minor cosmetic changes

Here we go again! I'm still working on this, mainly to add support for the weapon/gameplay mods I use the most..

the HUD now supports natively:

After the new update I can't see shotgun and ssg icons in supercharge for some reason, I can see them in vanilla doom tho

I've checked his decorate scripts and those weapons' definitions are missing the "Inventory.Icon" property.

After adding it manually, the HUD behaved properly again.

 

What's strange is that all weapons are missing that property (ie: the Assault Rifle) and the HUD does not seem to complain.

 

I guess I'll summon @Tango then..

It appears that the file link is no longer working. I was able to copy and paste the google drive links that were added a few posts down from the OP, but I am afraid that these are the older versions updated in Dec 2021, and not the newest updated ones. Any chance we could get a reupload? Or perhaps add the newest versions to the google drive? I absolutely love how this mods looks and would like the up to date versions.

No need to apologize and indeed, these are wise words. I myself am a noobie to doom mods/wads and have just been going to town downloading everything I see that I like. I made sure all of the files were nice and organized and backed up (not new to modding games, just doom). I had never seen or used this mod before a couple of weeks ago, I was just interested in trying it out. So I'm still hopeful that someone out there has the normal size and will come across this thread eventually, and if not, I am at least overwhelmed right now with material to keep me busy (the last month of discovering this world has been like an eternal Christmas for a spoiled 10 year old).

 

And I am actually really liking the version you linked anyway, so thanks again for that one! Cheers! I am loving this community!
