This alone cements my faith in ZDRay having a future for GZDoom mapping as its own custom nodesbuilder and light baking program. It brings a lot of new ambiance.

 

Begging the curious though, ZDRay is still in beta. So what version did you do to achieve this, and did you do anything custom to the process?

The latest master version on dpJudas' github + the latest GZD devbuild with the command line option -enablelightmaps and compiled with ZDBSP before running ZDRay on the wad. You also need to have a file called lightconfig.txt with at least one line in it in the same directory you run ZDRay from.

Long Time till i contributed to you guys. Work in Progress Map im making right now. First Time im working with Custom Textures (i was just too lazy before). Inspiration: Alien, Duke, Half Life and Doom ofc. Hope you like it.

PS: New Release of 2Wood: 

New:

- 3 Brandnew Maps:

-- MAP: Demonic Ruins, MAP: Lucifers Tower (Tower of Babel Reimagination), MAP: Blood Sewers/Blood Soaked (Personal Favorite so far)

- Redid some Maps (Added Ammo for example)

- Reordered some Maps for better Progression

- Rearanged the Classic Doom Music to better fit the Maps

- Sky Texture fit the Maps

 

Have fun!

 

PS: Fucked up Map Ordering. MAP02 is not loading into MAP03. Im into it and will rerelease soon. Thats why i never released it. Needed some polish. Workaround: Run it via Ultra Doom Builder. Fixed!

It's been a hot minute since I last posted anything TMoD 7 related. TBH... I wasn't sure where to take the silly series, so... why not mess around with art style? :D

 

Here's 2 screenshots of TMoD 7: Wired! and I'm not sure which is better:

Maybe start with Black/White and add Colors later to it. Would be awesome if it is some sort of Gimmick like flicking a Switch to add color to your map. Or just as some sort of story/design thing.

Working on a remaster of an old behemoth I made, from back in January 2021, a few months into my mapping career.

 

As evident by the second picture, there's still a lot of detail to do...I am all over the place with creating maps.
