When someone tells me to "Touch Grass", I'm gonna assume they're telling me to hunker down, snuggle up, and play one of the many great outdoorsy Doom Wads from 2022.

E2M1, E4M7, and E4M9 are all admittedly looking pretty good there, I can't deny that. That courtyard shot bathed in orange light especially, and with the reflective pools of water, it's kinda spiffy.

There'll be a DSDA/Woof version, and a patch with some added eye candy for GzDoom.

after several hours of one-and-off work, i'm pretty much finished with my first map. works on all difficulty levels just fine.

Um... no.

 

No, because it's just one map of a huge megawad, so I would have to change the thing for each map and every single map is in a very different environment (Egypt, Greek, Medieval, Aztec, Tech base, etc. :) so I simply decided to keep every single decorations and light sources as they are in Doom 2 :)
