Heh, check out these screen shots i made in zdoom. If this has been done before....go ahead and lynch me.....I managed to get a bunch of inter-species fighing going on. eg. mancubus fighting other mancubi. There really is no trick to it....well yes, there is, but no dehacked or anything.

heh..ok, i just checked that out, and it does work...however, i used a couple mancubus and one killed the other one. The way i did it, they would fight forever basically.

edit: besides...i used "notarget", so the monsters never knew i was around, and i never attacked them, and i didn't used barrels

Yeah i've seen this sort of thing before. There's one wad out there that makes a monster kill itself intentionally. I recall watching a baron of hell mawling itself.

I was playing tvr the other day, one of the earlier levels, and I walked into the beach-like area with the two Spider Masterminds. While trying to get to me, one of them shot the other and they began duking it out. Now that was rewarding to watch, and something I never thought I'd see.

That sort of thing happens frequently for me. Piece of advice. When playing Hell revealed try and get the masterminds to fight when there are more than one. It's what i did on level 22.

Also, it helps to get some enemies caught in the crossfire, especially minor ones that won't have much of a chance of fighting back. At the very least, you could save a little bit of ammo.

heh, i really liked the arachnotrons. lol. it did give me a headache. They could sit there, shooting plasma at eachother forever. The mancubus will at least move around.

edit: yeh, the 3rd pain elemental shot it the best one

Monsters aren't affected by projectiles of their own kind, but Masterminds fire bullets not projectiles so they will infight easily.

I once played The Halls of the Damned on Ultra-Violence, and for some reason there were two pairs of demons who were stuck inside each other at one point (I dunno if this was some weird bug or an error in making the level, or weather or not it was fixed at a later date, but whatever). They were just kind of running in place, and I walked up to one pair and one of them bit me. Somehow he damaged the other guy this way and they began chewing on each other. It was weird looking because they were inside one another and it seemed as though he were chewing himself to death.

A real feat would be getting a screenie of two ghosts fighting each other. Better yet, a demo. Two chaingunners would battle endlessly.

in memento mori map21 there is a room with a picture on the wall of 2 barons fighting eachother. In the room there are also 2 barons and a barrel, heh.
