3D Graphics/Gaming Problem

Recommended Posts

Might as well see if anyone can help me at DW... My system is a 1.7ghz celeron with an intel 845gl integrated graphics card on Windows XP Pro. Recently I've been having trouble with brightness/gamma in just about every game I play, Quake, Quake 2, Doom, Counter-Strike, etc. even with monitor and game brightness/gamma to full. These games are extremely dark in all modes (opengl/direct3d/software). This problem comes and goes but I have no clue what is causing it. Is there a known issue with the 845GL (besides that it sucks) or a system setting I need to change? Hope somebody has a solution.

Don't know for sure, but it may be your video card or something along those lines.

I think the first thing you might wanna try is to change your video card settings.
1. Go to your Display Properties on the control panel
2. Click on the settings tab
3. Click on the "Advanced..." button.
look around here, see if you can find something.

HAH! I would except for the fact that my gay "Value" comp doesn't have an AGP port!

What did I tell you on AIM? Most "Value" comps are the exact opposite of Value.
