It was 'Foxed', and I dunno how they work.

It wasn't foxed, it's on idgames, I don't think it was ever finished though. Mike Gummelt moved on to Quake and stuff.

The friendly marines were just monsters that had no attack frame, and their pain frame led directly into the attack. So they would never shoot anything unless they were shot at first, and then they would stand there and shoot at it until it died or moved behind cover.
