what, besides dooming and gaming, do you do in your free time?

fallowing the advice of many people i have been working with something that was originaly a short story but has gotten larger. Many have said they like it, even when i tent not to agree. basicaly is about a full blown war between the US and drug/war lords from south america. I even based it on a number of people i knew

I read literature, play saxophone (I own a 1934 Martin vintage), play some sports, do homework of course, I'm working on my novel, taking interest in politics and things of that nature and so on.

I think about doing a lot of things, but never actually do any. I've come up with ideas for a number of stories/games but I can never get up the motivation to write anything down. I guess all I really do with my spare time is look for a job or watch anime. Pretty pathetic, eh?

i usually write music and lyrics, which takes up a great deal of my time, or i read, or i attempt to write (i've been working on a story which keeps getting revised, edited, and redone), i'm trying to spend some time with my girlfriend but without a car i'm at a disadvantage, homework, school, eating, sleeping, drinking, smoking (wait, i quit!!!! hahaha yes! fuck you phillip morris!), and being online talking to my gf and visiting doomworld and porn. i don't think i do anything else but i'm probably leaving out a lot.

When im not Dooming or gaming or spamming, Im talking, on messengers or phone, or well, thats it, thats all I do all day in my free time, Game, and Talk, All day every day and its been that for a few months now, 7 at least.

I usually play videogames, surf the net, talking on AIM, write on my anime-inspired semi-novel thingie, write music (instrumental), watch anime, or hang with friends. Lately, too, I've been trying to go out with a girl, so that also takes up free time. Oh, and do homework, of course. Japanese class gives it out every day. And I've got reading up the wazoo for both my Russian Lit class and my Creative Expressions class.

Can't think of too much else at the time. For a hobbie, I collect videogame consoles (working on that NeoGeo right now), but not much else. Though I guess you could add CDing as well. Eddie Izzard inspired.

I used to run my own site which took a lot of time out of my day really. I was alweys working on it, trying to think of better ways to display the content, speed it up, every little byte mattered to me. Sadly it's not up anymore. I have mediocre photoshop skills, I can do most things I want, most things my site needed, just about anything to get by (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/506891 if you want to see). Lately I've also been trying to learn 3d, loading a tutorial into mozilla every few days and trying to create objects with so far, really basic shapes (a bong for example).

That's when I feel like actually doing something, and if I don't I'll usually go out and get stoned with my buddies.

Well...recently I got into mapping, and now I spend a lot of time on that. But what I really love doing is making music. One of these days I'm gonna get me a good expensive keyboard and hook it up to my computer, because everything I've tried seems to restrictive for me.

Drawing : Oldest of my pasttimes. You can find a fair bit of my scanned artwork (including a pencil drawing of the Mancubus that seemed to please people here) at my WebSite.

There's also the obvious mapping for our project, 'The Underworld', a Jdoom-orientated megawad.

I write, too. Take a peek at 'The Underworld' stories on the FanFic forums. The latest chapter is 'Becoming'.

I play a little bass guitar - thanks for teaching me Jay :) - and a little of the drums too.

Reading - i'm currently into Shaun Hutson and Clive Barker novels, though i'm about to embark on Tolkien's original LOTR novels (my brother bought me the trilogy, heh).

Warhammer 40,000 - yes, some may think it sad, but you'd be suprised at how amazing a fully painted swarm of Tyranid minatures can look. They're painted a contrasting stony gray/blood red with lots of drybrushing, for those who are interested :).

And finally, Vampirajay. Damn she's lovely.

We were on the bus with her today - we had just been to pick up the keys to the new house (moving on wednesday, woohoo!), and she's saying 'bye bye!' to people as they get off the bus. Anyway, this couple in their mid-thirties pass with their daughter who looks about 3 - this kid's pretty shy, but Raven's gabbing away to her.
The couple smile to us and laugh at Raven as they go to get off, until Raven giggles, "Bye Bye... now, go away!"

I don't want to list the obvious crap like go to school and stuff, so here's some other stuff I do. I draw, make some custom GFX for a GameMaker game my friend and I are working on, go to Doomworld, and... I think that's it.
