Astaroth from Soul Calibur fucking rules. :D Oh, and even though he's not technically in a fighting game, Dante from Devil May Cry also owns house.

Especially Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.

Aside from that, the ninjas (reptile, subzero, scorpion, etc.) are my favs.

And oh yeah, for those who don't know, Shang Tsung kills Liu Kang in the intro movie in MK: Deadly Alliance :D.

Street Fighter II: Blanka, Vega, Sagat, Bison. (I found them to be the best on skill 8 when trying to "master" them)

Oh, Voldo? Heh, he was an odd one. But you don't remember Astaroth, the hugeass axe-wielding demon with his hear on the outside of his chest? He had some of the most wicked grapple moves. :D
