Bri0che Posted August 13, 2022 (edited) Demonophobia is a fast-combats WAD (and is a kind of "die and retry"-like) with 7 maps of limited spaces and monsters fights, giving a play time of around 1 or 2 minutes per map. Balance is short and ammo waste is *highly* punishing, map are designed to be punctilious with the ressources you have. Informations : !!! Pistol start will soft lock you at one time or another, just play on continuous play and make sure you save at the start point of every map !!! This is absolutely intended and is the major point of this WAD, if you can't play without Pistol start don't play this. Doom II WAD needed. DoomII format. Tested with Gzdoom 4.8.2/Prboom+ 2.6.2/DoomRetro 4.5.1 (all work fine). No jump, no crouch, freelook is as you want. UV only. "What this WAD contain ?" : MAP01-02-03-04-05-06-07-(08) map+music replacement ; custom texture pack. He can abandon his insomnias of eternal massacre and take a deserved sleep ; but something is wrong... What is the Reality and what is the Unreal anymore ? shawnofthedead28 Posted August 16, 2022 This was actually a lot of fun! It gets down right mean sometimes but it's 100% doable and it's a fun quick play. If I had one wish it would be that the secret in map 03 would open the other door. I mean, I like that you make the player choose between the shotgun and the rocket launcher but I thought when I found the secret switch I was going to get both rooms but alas.
