Where's information, what map format, limitations, credits, what source port should I use

Don't just give download and screenshot and expect people find out the info themselves.

Hey whats up!!, I understand that this is probably one of your first wads but it is important that you give information about the wad because not giving information about your wad gives little confidence and will make members not want to play it, I recommend that the next time you publish a wad put information about the wad it doesn't matter if it's a small or simple wad

Sorry, like a member said above, I will not trust to download this. You need to provide more information on your map, and by the looks of the screenshots, it looks to be sub mediocre level. Sorry again, but no.

I had problems putting the information and it is my second wad made by me. If you want I can add it when modifying the Forum Article.

With that I have a doubt about uploading your doom wads in doomworld, actually I'm new to this.

Hey, finally got around to recording your map. Definetly a standard map. 

I'll try to record another video later, but I can't promise when. in the meanwhile, take a look at ultimate doom builder tutorials on youtube.

Thanks for the advice to improve doom wads and it's the second map I've done but good video.

Finished your map on UV (Doom Retro)

This map is just uninspired and random, it feels like a jokewad or trolling map than a serious effort in making something good. Is not the worst wad ever (that titles goes for wow.wad) but is clear that is not even on the average map quality. I'm sorry if it sound rough, but it's the only I can think about.

About the things I liked:

You know the basics of Doom Mapping, and is clear that you have the skills to make something better.

And is just that, let's talk about the flaws:

A LOT of textures misalignments, literally, theres no linedef without a misalign. I know that align textures can be a pain, but you can save a lot of time using the automatic align (In 3D Mode, put the cursor in a texture and press A for a horizontal auto-align and Shift+A for a vertical one). Is not perfect, sometimes you need to make manual alignments but I the majority of times is a time saver.

Seriously, I hate when people use misalignments as Secrets Hints (Again, sorry for being rude). Textures variants exist for more than just variety.

About the enemy placement, literally is just a bunch of random enemies and barrels without any strategy. Barrels can be a great crowd neutralizer if placed in a way that is coherent with the enemy placement, but you only put barrels behind the enemies, thats not fun, just boring.

Also, you put more ammo than needed, is great to have a good amount of supplies, but the amount of enemies doesn't justify to have basically infinite ammo.

And last, let's talk about your post.

Aside the download link, screens and some basic info, you miss all the relevant information (sourceport tested, map format, map slot, etc...)
What makes this even worse is the fact that you first wad released (for some reason you made your first wad release into a status update rather than a thread, I suppose you was really unexperienced into doomworld by the time) have this relevant information, so this is a big downgrade compared to your first post.

I really don't want to being the guy that just shits all up, but this map just looks as a Experimental Sandbox rather than serious map.

Level Design, like everything, requires time and effort to make something great.  I know you can do something better, you know the mapping basics, even things that can be "advanced" for newbies, just need to give it more time and effort (Giving 5 minutes in polishing can do a lot) . I really hope to see a great map in the future.

Also, I suggest you to watch this video, can give you a base where you can start improving you skills

Ja, I agree with my neighbour from above. This is clearly a first test map, to see what's good or what's wrong. This is basic and the other guys say everything I needed to tell about this wad, so I'll not repeat myself. Just work hard to bring a new (and better) experience next time. Cheers. ;)

Everyone already touched base on actual feedback so - hey - you seem to have a foothold on the basics now you can spend more time experimenting with more textures and scenarios and stuff

 

Regardless I actually had fun when my buddies @MAN_WITH_GUN & @Dub Bag egged me on to try playing in different ways lol
