[BOOM] Switch texture doesn't swap when used

Question

I made a custom switch textures, named them SW1LOCK and SW2LOCK respectively, added them to both the textures and patch lumps in slade. I applied SW1LOCK to a wall and added a S1 linedef special. When pressing "use", the linedef special works as intended, but the switch texture doesn't swap and there is no switch sound. When the SW1LOCK texture is replaced with a regular switch texture, it all works fine, the texture swaps and makes the sound and everything. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I've made sure there aren't any switch textures applied above or below the linedef. I think it has something to do with the custom textures? idk please help
