I'll try to get a recording done, when I get back, but in the meanwhile, please remember the following. 1) First maps take a long time to develop. So please, make sure that you take your time. 2) Custom textures need to be included in the .wad file. Here are some links and videos on how to do that. They definitely have all the signs of a first mapping effort, as if the maps were made in great haste, not caring about texture alignment issues. With a bit a bit of detailing and careful selection of textures these maps could be presentable. The ideas of some of the constructs are quite good, but, too many monsters in small spaces without a spot to hide are very annoying. 6 hours ago, mattjohn said: ... if not to much work you can fix the missing textures It seems to me that you used an external texture pack trying to enhance the look of some linedefs, floors, ceilings. If that is the case then you have to let us know which one it is, else the missing textures issue will persist. I noticed sectors are being built into other sectors, and sorting out the sector layout will take a long time. After separating the sectors, I would have to assign a TAG # to each sector. After assigning tag numbers to the sectors, and linedefs, I would need to program the sector events. I would fix the maps for you, but I am under the impression the project will take several hours. There is no way anyone will know how to use the DOOM Engine effectively in a short amount of time.
