Greetz to Oldschool Uk Doomers from forest and multiplay bbs

Hi Trojan aka squid here just trying once again to get in touch with some old faces I see may inhabit this forum. I used to run up £400+ a month telephone bills calling forest and multiplay/gamesnet bbs to play doom2 from a p133 onwards until the scene died pretty much. I'm delighted to see forest is still going in a form and wondered if any old faces remember me and could spare a moment of their time to fill me in on the state of Doom2 in the UK, the bbs's still active or have the majority all moved on now to the net and newer games?

I remember playing fod n mod most nights along with dozens of others including beatz from danny from manchester who was the best doomer I think I ever saw and even played macca when I was a begineer on joystick!!! Good times, I miss the close knit community we used to have, net attitudes within HLDM suck tbh ;)

Anyways take it ez peeps and hopefully I can get back into this game once again (I hope you guys play with mouselook off and no jumping old school style???? :))

Trojan, I don't think alot of people play on bss anymore.

hehe thanks for the nfo m8, I will try my best to get my ass online sometime and in a server. I tried csdoom I think it was a while back but there were only bout 4 servers listed and 3 of those were stateside tho, couldn't find anyone I knew either so gave up in the end. I used to play forsaken on MSN Zone (until I found kali was lagfree :)) never knew you could play doom2 on there now, thanks again.

Hi Trojan, Modders says hi too, get yourself kitted out for Zdaemon, Forest BBS is alive and well in the form of telnet, so telnet into forestbbs.dyndns.org you will usually find someone to talk to in teleconf :P
