What is this?

 

It is a Limit-Removing (vanilla maps are also allowed) TNT Community Project of course! Which revolves around small details, things like environmental story-telling, and small stuff like that, here's some screenies to show you some of it.

 

And while I'm here, here's a download link for the wad, only maps 1, 8, 11, 12 and 21 so far:

Note: I will be taking maps: 11, 21 and 31 because I like ending/starting episodes.

DEADLINE NOTE: Maps should at best be finished by the end of the year, but I can extend it to April if need be.

Okay, texture and other shit:

 

You're only allowed to use the bog standard TNT textures, but making the really annoying textures that are comprised of multiple textures more useable does not count as a custom texture.

 

Now, after thinking about it, I'm gonna clarify what I mean by "details", doomcute, detailing (as in attention to detail) and small things like busted up doors and etc. all count, so I'm basically telling you to detail shit as much as you want.

 

Custom midis are of course, allowed.

 

And maps shouldn't be too big, or be too ball-busting, around medium to small map size and and medium difficulty.

 

Of course use -complevel 4, so no boom shit or anything like that.

I really may map a thing as I never worked with any other IWAD ressources than Doom I and Doom II !

Like the one replacing SLADRIPx and WFALLx / SWxSKUL lumps? Or something completely different but based upon the original textures, like the one in Patched-up textures?

Sorry for the dumbness, but i don't get this point!

Nice intro map. I have a map candidate, but i'm not sure if it's acceptable for difficulty.

You could post it and see how you can make it easier, and thanks for the demo, I'ma watch now

 

EDIT: I'm getting some weird desyncs with that demo, I have no clue why, and I installed eternity just to watch :P

I'm still confused by this - what do you mean by make them usable? They're already perfectly usable as is. . .

well, I guess the midtextures being included in these weird textures is annoying, same for the seemingly unused saw texture.

oh go on then... I've finished my maps for 2Enemy and Devious Deviance, and other projects I'm mapping for have longer deadlines. So I can whip up a small early map, sign me up for a MAP6.
