It was sitting on the shelf for some time so I decided to send it to the 2021 Doom Maximum project - which seems to be slow compiling. After talking with Bio and stuff I felt like yeah I should just release it already, hope that cool @Obsidian -- Not to toot my own horn but I feel like it's a good map of mine, I rarely feel this way about my own work and after years or however it really needs to see the light of day So here it is - originally meant for boom but converted to limit removing easy enough - I never used boom features per the parameters of the original project - 150 monsters and 3 secrets - tech base - no plasma weapons and that about it some mild gimmicks here but overall a tech base I think works and is connected to itself well if anyone knows the music let me know - after all this time I forgot Thanks to @MAN_WITH_GUN and @Austinado who helped me find tune this and also extensive testing by @Biodegradable - you can also thank @Biodegradable for the awesome name lol good times - any feedback welcome - it feels good to finally get it out there - may be a bit cursed - its been wanting out for soooo long man Get it here --> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kkv_fHmnLXQaosgJEQVqDzmy45FfLVXb/view?usp=sharing Edited October 1, 2022 by Clippy 23 Share this post Link to post

Kan3 Posted October 2, 2022 Tested in UV. Quite challenging and entertaining map you got here. Loved the interconnectivity and the secrets (even if I totally missed the berserk D:), just a couple of notes: Overall it felt rather confusing with all of the different doors you put there and the continuous backtracking You forgot to change the acid texture in the 2 alcoves floor I would've loved to have the rocket launcher before the hell knights + revenants encounter (even because I almost didn't even use it later) I hate that switch door x) A part from these, I've seen a great improvement in architecture and textures, I really like the layout and overall aesthetics and, like I said, very entertaining. Somniac Posted October 2, 2022 That was gnarly! Really had to rely on infighting at the beginning, and I never felt safe at any point - I learnt the hard way by rushing a few too many areas lol. Really cool map. I like how your stuff always seems to have a higher concept behind it in the gameplay and level design. The music appears to be Heretic E1M1 with different melodies. Clippy Posted October 3, 2022 @Pezl glad u enjoyed it - I always have to end on an archvile note dont I lol - cant help myserlf @LadyMistDragon very helpful demo! I think I see a misalligned texture on crate by yellow key - will fix and it shouldn't mess up your demo. Also you left the starting imp alive and no way back to start room, so cool to see you still get it from outside. And the rev hell knights are something I love to see infight - you were close on some secrets - It does get a bit confusing at the end because silver gates put you on a specific path to allow the archie to bring back all those big group of guys from the start - it doesnt often work out as great as it did in your run - he brought damn near all of them back it seems - which is why I give rocket launcher at end to go to party town - great play thanks so much!! 2 Share this post Link to post
