Is FIREBLU hot or cold?

Recommended Posts

It looks like a material that you can phase through, but it would make you feel weird and numb.

Like a 3D, TV static from hell.

It feels like when your foot falls asleep, except more violent and painful.

From this, I've concluded that touching FIREBLU would itch.

Possibly fireblu has some properties of antimatter... and the red and blue pulsing is its surface interacting with regular matter, which causes it to fizzle and glow.

As you can probably imagine, don't stick your extremities in a bucket of anti matter.

I am imagining now that your avatar cat is sitting on some fireblu, with that self satisfied look on its face.

I don't know its temperature but it tastes like hot cinnamon candy.  If the UAC could ever refine the stuff they would have a delicious goldmine on their hands.

All of the carnage, devastation and dead bunnies that occurred in the Doom timelines came about because these corporate bastards were trying to extract the tastiest treats from Hell. Willy Wonka confirmed for CEO of UAC.

Hell would have a circle made of fiberglass insulation, wouldn't it.

The blue part of flames is typically the hottest, no?

True, but it's a pretty different blue. And actually it's also a different red.

(The numbers correspond to temperature measured in Kelvin.)

It's hot, the red parts are burning hot and the blue parts burning even hotter. Blue flames are complete combustion of gas.

I don't know. Have you tried touching it yourself?

Seconded.

But my personal theory is that it's just hot because, duh, it's from hell.

It's both.  The difference of hot and gold is caused by the temporal distortion that chemical reaction experiences when close to a singularity or similar high gravity material.

In other words: It's hot and cold, because it's distorted by hell or by another spacetime related object or particle.

In simple words: Both, because it's stuck inside a time bubble you're crossing through or looking at.
