BTW, good job. The mirror look perfect to me in that screenie. Nothing wrong with it that I can see. So, when we can expect a completely done version of ZDooMGL?

Ok, I just looked at it in-game. It's very nice, you can't really see it on the screenshot. I'm not too familiar with shaders, but it's similar to the shiny metal effects in recent 3D shooters.

That's right, it's spherical environment mapping on the mirrors :) Right now it's just using some texture I found on the net. If anybody finds some nice chrome sphere map texture, send it my way, ok?

What's the big use with it?

The current one is a 24-bit grey-scale 256x256 pixel jpeg.

It doesn't really matter what it is, actually, so long as it's a format OpenIL understands (eg: jpg, png, tga, etc).

Yes. I't a 24-bit image but only uses various shades between white and black.
