DOOM seriously has a lack of good looking trim textures, so I use the same trick :P I often use those decorative marble walls with skulls on them, they make a great trim texture.

Gotta say, once you free yourself from putting down monsters, you don't have to worry about the spaces being too big so the fights are circlestrafable - it's freeing.

Now I play City of the Damned Apocalypse. Is very different game from other wads. Blood style, more adventure than linear shooter.
