Well, I still dont quite understand what you mean, but I have a favorite DooM "cover" located below.

Methinks i didn't phrase it properly.

What i basically mean is along the direction of "does At doom's gate in 3do doom sound better than At doom's gate in gba doom, or does the midi version of the song kick both of their asses?"

And yes Remixes count. :)

They're a lot better than the Doom64 tracks and the Quake 1 tracks - you know my take on these - but I still think the original midis are far better than anything else. Simply because they seem more varied instead of all that ambience only.

I just missed a good metal/industrial track in there.

My fave is kind of dated. I remember the MP3s of the Roland Doom music. I loved that stuff. It made me really want a Roland sound card.../me drools...

map09's music (into sandy's city, IIRC) will forever be the best music... :)

That Epiclore cover absolutely kicked ass. I'm a music fiend, so I try tend to get caught up in what I'm listening to, and the transitions just blew me away. There's also a remix on Overclocked of Sandy's City, I think, that's just freakin' awesome.
