DeHackEd bug

Question

Hello.

 

I was recently testing out a new DeHackEd enemy that Im making. It works completely fine until I shoot the enemy with a rocket launcher. For whatever reason it doesnt go to its explode state and instead goes to its pain state before coming completely invincible. Any fix to this issue?

Check what your xdeath frame is pointing to, and specifically its duration. If it's -1 that means it won't leave that frame, which means that it can't react to any stimuli -- hence invincible.

 

If you can, please at least share the dehacked lump or, even better, a wad with your monster and the custom stuff in it.

Impossible to tell without seeing your enemy in action.

But keep in mind that there is no 'explode' state. If you shoot it with a rocket without killing it it may enter its pain state, and it sounds like something in there is not correct.
