Daytime Waitress Posted October 2, 2022 After hearing Savaged Regime's stuff for the first time recently and being absolutely blown away with what he was doing with the Genesis soundchip, I decided to look up his Xeno Crisis OST and slap that game back on my wishlist. I did a little more digging and realised he also went by Gecko Yamori years ago, aka the dude whose tracks kept me interested in OCRemix back when I first found it. @lazygecko has been producing absolute bangers all my adult life and dumb dumb me only just got around to realising it today. Thank you, you gorgeous human being, you! 0 Share this post Link to post

He collaborated with Francis Dunnery of the Brit band It Bites for Music of the Spheres and Francis did some really good guitar work. 1 Share this post Link to post

Thanks for pointing that out - it's really weird that the first track on the album, a single at that, doesn't highlight such a wonderful aspect. 1 Share this post Link to post

I found out about it through this video: I started a course for learning Japanese so I figured I might as well get an habit of listening music in the language to try and learn some more. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to continue with the course due to my previous job taking too much time, but I still hear a little Sakanaction every now and then. 1 Share this post Link to post

I'm getting a "video not available" error, although that's possibly because I'm in Japan lmao. If your goal is to get over here, even for a just a little while, keep plugging away at it with whatever holds your interest. Music isn't a miracle solution for learning a language, but every little bit helps for immersion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 1 Share this post Link to post

Murdoch Posted October 4, 2022 I have been on a bit of a blues kick recently. A legend comes back for another round... And a modern day legend released his best album yet this year. 0 Share this post Link to post
MrFroz Posted October 4, 2022 A song that I'd like to play on guitar, if I knew how to play guitar. This live version is also pretty good: 0 Share this post Link to post
