Torre Blanca (Boom Map)

I have never been a fan of slaughter maps. I used to loathe them as being more like learning fluid dynamics than killing demons, but a recent map I tried has inspired me to try creating one myself, and thus understand them better. I have to say that even though it was a quick job, I am more than satisfied with the result.
It's not a difficult map by the standards the doom community is used to in this genre of maps, but hey, I wouldn't say it's a walk in the park either!

All textures except the sky are made by me for the occasion. I owe the Midi to Clockwork Orange (it's their main theme) and the map contains 4549 monsters, which can be swept in about 15 minutes, approximately. Good luck fragging!
 

Single Player/ No Freelook/ No Jump/ No CrouchCrouch.  

Infinitly tall monsters required.
Format: Boom
IWAD: Doom2.wad
Tested on: DSDA , Woof
New graphics: All the exteriors are new created by me (except the sky, that belongs to a pack called MdSkyes.wad)

New sounds: Yes
Music: Orange.midi (a rendition of the main theme from Clockwork Orange)
Base: From Scratch
Build Time : Two days.   
Editor(s) used: UDB, Slade 3, Aseprite
Known bugs: Misaligned textures, maybe some residual slimetrail. I may clean up the map if I see it's well received.

At 21 min I managed to softlock myself in a ditch, had to idclip out of there

 

A chaingun would have been nice to deal with lost soul

Thanks for playing it! hope you enjoyed, although you absolutely invalidated the challenge of the map because in gzdoom there is no infinitly tall monsters, so the Cacos cant block you. 🤣🤣🤣

takes me a few tries to rush the BFG but I get it eventually :) This is a fun overpowered fight!

I had great fun playing this map, the start is *rough* and so crowded! Ran around cleaning up pain elementals then enjoyed the infighting show.
