Doom Connector

Hi, im the one working on Doom connector support for Skulltag, but i have *no* information on what the dmflag values are, the command options, or anything else in gerneral. post anything here

I found a bunch of cmd args from the old Doom Connector (2), but these are very old and possibly outdated, dont count on it. This, however, was the correct order in which they should be applied.

Server:
-iwad [iwadfile]
-file [pwadfiles]
-deh [dehfiles]
-dmflags [bitflags]
-dmflags2 [bitflags]
-host
-deathmatch/-teamplay/-instagib/-survival/-scoremode/-terminator/-oldschool/-teamgame
-skill [skill]

+set sv_gravity [gravityofwhichidontknowthescale]
+set fraglimit [frags]
+set timelimit [minutes]
+set scorelimit [score]
+set pointlimit [points]
+set name [username]
+map [shortmapname]
+set alwaysapplydmflags 1
+set dmflags [bitflags]
+set dmflags2 [bitflags]
+set cl_bloodtype 0

Notes: Yes the last few are hardcoded, these were to prevent skulltag bugs. Yes dmflags are applied in 2 different methods to ensure they are applied.

Client:
-iwad [iwadfile]

+set name [username]
+set cl_bloodtype 0
+set cl_pufftype 0
+set cl_rockettrails 0
-connect [ip]

Note: IP is 127.0.0.1 when hosting, because server was launched dedicated (same as zdaemon).
 
 
Please someone shed some more lights on the additions, changes and updates of these cmd args. Unfortunately I cant provide more info since this is taken from old and bad commented code (shame on me!).

The crashing bug with particles is fixed.
I don't think there have been many (if any at all) changes made to the cmd args. I'm pretty sure the order you place them in is irrelevant.

Default gravity is 800. So 400 is half the gravite, 1600 is twice as much and so on.

Thanks everybody, DC now has somewhat limited support, Custom games are a definate go, but theres still work to be done on master server stuff.
