What kind of paper did you use?

Uhh, normal, smooth A4 drawing paper. I'm not a paper specialist - just give some blank, white paper and I'll provide the art as I best can :-)

If your favorite drawing media is the pencil, I'd strongly recommend you to use white canson or Fabrian/Fabriano paper, you'll feel an enormous difference and it'll be easier to work when smudging/adding lights and shadows ;)

Nice work dsm. Looks a wee bit like the quake dragon I suppose (the one from the expansion pack).

Can I color it? :P

I was going to ask the same question :-P
Truly amazing. It seems to be a bit cleaner than your usual pencil drawings. High detail level, as usual. So, yeah, this one's just begging for some color.

Looks alittle lazy on the wing-flaps though.. like you scribbled a bit.

Yes I know. It is largely due to me trying to get some sort of lighting effect from the fire onto the wings coupled with the fact that I'm generally not too good at doing thin skin or the like.

Looks pretty sweet, but it looks more like a dinosaur than a dragon imo.

Can I color it? :P

Sure, by all means - that goes for everyone. You are always welcome to add colour to my drawings, just remember to notify me about it (and to credit me for the base drawing if you use it somewhere).
Btw, what happened to the colour version of my HeXen drawing and all those people who started working on that? Did they give up or get fed up with it? Or does it simply take a long time to do?

As for how long it took: I'll say about two weeks (though not in hours put into the work itself).

Make more!

I'm working on several drawings - can't say when they'll be done though, let alone scanned. Also, in case you haven't seen what else I've done, check the fan art index for the rest of my scanned art.
