What the duce did I do to the weapons?

The fist is faster

The pistol is faster

The shotgun is faster

The SSG is faster

The Rocket launcher is a single rocket death cannon (1-shot everything, don't miss ;)

The Plasma rifle is slower with higher damage.

I'll let you find out what I did to the Spider Mastermind

I'm with you. This is actually really sick! I think the monsters will take some getting used to. I think the custom weapons mostly work although I'm not sure how everyone likes how the plasma slowed down. It seemed to work fine though and it's not slowed down that much imo.

How did you get the Cyberdaemon to die in one rocket?

 

On my first attempt, he activated when I first shot my pistol and was firing at me throughout that map. When I restarted he didnt. But now I have two rockets - neither kill him so he turns me to red mist.

 

Edit: Sometimes when I shoot him with the two rockets he doesnt even react... I must have missed something.

I have NO idea, lol. I assume he has to be centered somehow.

Checked the wad description and it says "The Rocket launcher is a single rocket death cannon (1-shot everything, don't miss ;)". That isn't happening for me; even on a lower difficulty. Weird.

Hebonky already watched me play this, but I figured I'd drop a post to show my support. :D

 

This is a really cool WAD that offers a nice challenge on UV. One of my favorite bits (aside from the buffed weapons) is how the map gradually opens up as you progress through it. It doesn't take too long to play through it (it took me about 40-45 minutes for a blind 100% run, with a few hints to get all the secrets), so I highly recommend giving it a shot.

 

 

 

Also, the freshly-polished spider mastermind is pretty rad, ngl.
