Its gotten to a point where even my instructors shamefully admit that it was about oil. Its so blatantly obvious that even the staunchest supporter will feel ashamed. However, those who knew it was about oil and can reconcile with the fact that the government is indeed a resource whore, they are the ones who are smiling the most.

There was an interesting news story on the other night, about families who find out their loved ones got killed after the "official" end of the fighting. Heinlein said it best: you're just as dead if you buy it in a "police action" as in a declared war.
