T.N.Terminus [3 map miniwad for TNT]

There's some black textures. Can check at 4'55" (map 02, boxes at corner) and along the maps 02 and 03.

Tested with GZDoom 4.10.0.

Hi! I also check it with GZDoom 4.10.0 and everything works fine. Did you forget to run the game with TNT iwad?

Really cool WAD. Both of the main event maps in it are sprawling (although mostly linear) and ambitious in scope, with Map02 being more moody and sinister while Map03 feels a bit more toothy and upfront, kind of baring its fangs at you (especially with that starting room). I really like them both. The gradual transition in Map02 from tech to hell-tech to outright hell at the very end does a lot for the pacing of the map and sets up for Map03 to hit the player over the head and wake them up proper.

What can i say? 🤔

 

There are really cool looking TNT maps. I don't often see techbase mixed with hell but you manage to mix these two themes very well. Intro map is also cool and set mood for rest of the wad. Fights are also quite hard but good. I recommend to play this pack. 😊

A couple of things.

 

It mostly seemed like you were trying to incorporate TNT into your own style but mostly seemed to be fairly modern in the combat sense. Presumably, you've played a fair few old-school maps and perhaps want to rub some of the rough edges off of them. In any case, 02 seemed to be relatively laid-back and truthfully seemed a little on the mediocre end until the last few bits of that map.  Three, on the other hand, was more up to the difficulty of that Ultimate Doom map! Very nice hellish city and the cool little homages, as well as the little tech outposts in there were really good touches!

Beatiful maps with awesome design, that combines hell and base together and create with this some really amazing visuals. Strongly recommend this wad ;)

Thank you for creating T.N.Terminus, it is a thrilling WAD, full of very immersive, challenging and well balanced fights across the maps. It is my favorite type of mapset, as it has few maps with about 300 monsters each. Also, I have to say that I loved all the MIDIs and textures. Congratulations on this wonderful creation! See you soon!

A really great wad! I've always loved Techbases with a mix of hell, and this one hits the nail on the head!

Beautiful and meticulous map design with some good and balanced combat!

Hope to see more creations from you in the future!

Hello everyone, the file in the link has been updated.

 

List of changes:

- easy and medium difficulty levels are implemented

- improved balance

- improved level tracking by adding impassable linedefs (in some places the player could stuck on wall ledges)

- added/fixed level design details

- other minor fixes
