how to make a Polyobject swinging door work with 3d floors?

I was working on Marinewar and I wanted to make a house and tinker with the Polyobject doors and it works but... just let the screenshot explain

how do I fix this?

If you make the polyobject as a sector, and use the midtextures to make the polyobject, then add a 3d floor over it, it will hide it. I recently had a similar issue with poly objects.

 

Just be sure to NOT allow the player on that floor, because the polyobject will be invisible but still solid.

Instead of solid polyobjects (made up by 1s linedefs) you can also construct polyobjects made up from 2s linedefs /w Polyobj_ExplicitLine. See eg this discussion. Made some '3d' doors this way (can't check now), so it's definitely possible.
