Indeed, all this pimping is a bit unimpressive, while the biggest Doom file archive goes unmentioned. There's a search tool for it here, and two other file archives with plenty of Doom maps here and here.

For a more selective approach, see the many threads in the WADs and mods forum of the type "favourite megawad/episode/map", many of which also contain download links.

Well clearly I must be going insane because I'm looking at my site now and it appears to have wads on it. Or maybe you're using some new fangled definition of 'wads' that I'm unaware of.
