LtZeen Posted June 7 they all say "failed to restore all objects in save game" with a list of objects. I'm using the same mods as I'm using zdl files. any fix or screwed? 0 Share this post Link to post
kalensar Posted June 7 The mod files are not in the location they originally were is basically what this is meaning. I also use ZDL so just drag and drop the mods from their current locations back into the MOD side bar in ZDL and that should fix the issue as long as all the mods used in the save file are present. 1 Share this post Link to post

kalensar Posted June 7 1 minute ago, LtZeen said: you're my savior Heres some more user advise to make your ZDL experience easier and over all more smooth. Loadng mods from a blank location generally results in this type of error. The ZDL Mod side and IWAD side are basically just like a mailing list. Your BIOS update probably retained all your normal Hard Drive data, but rewrote the back end addresses which caused the "mailing list" type error for your save game file. For simplicity sake I usually just use 4 main locations: Download Folder: This is where initially end up from a download, and where I address first before deciding if I want to keep them. Desktop: The main area where my personal projects get built and tested from GZDoom folder-- The main mods that I prefer to keep MAPS folder-- Basically the folder where I dump all the doom maps ZDL also allows you modify the Load order of the Mods by highlighting and using the up or down arrow buttons below the window. You can also double click mods in the list window to turn them on or off where a line through the name means it is turned off. IPK3 files can be added to IWAD side so you can just load it as the base game alone, examples being Castlevania and Blade of Agony ZDL also allows for picking different Source Ports as well. Under the General Settings tab you can drag and drop various Source Port exe into the left list window. I And on the main Tab you can pick from the drop bar which Port to use like Crispy or PrBoom. Mod loading in the other source ports works exactly the same in ZDL, with the main caveat being if the Source Port can read the mod or not. Generally speaking PK3 or PK7 apply to GZDoom, Zandronum, LZDoom and ZDoom. Most other source ports use WAD file type since they cannot read ZIP or PK type files. 0 Share this post Link to post
