[Limit-Removing] Countdown To Death - 1 Hour Speedmapping Project (now on /idgames!)

Comments: I really liked the base textures I saw in screenshots, so I felt like making a map for this. Riffing on the starbase theme that Synami is going for, as well as her use of hexagon shapes.

I wanted to do a 1-hour speedmidi and I still have a bit of time left for that, but I'm tired. I'll probably submit a version 2 with a bit more work on the MIDI.

hi! i need help with my map [desperate design], as above. the [ogg] file does not work in [dsda] but works in [gzdoom], and i don't know why. could someone point out how could i make the ogg work in dsda? if it helps, the bitrate is 96 kbps. tq in advance.

Your version of DSDA may be outdated? I'm not sure, but in v0.27.5, the music works fine for me.

Comments (Optional): I'm glad this exists. Gives me the opportunity to yap, though I'll try to keep it short. How's life? I'm fine hbu. Anyways, I'm glad I found this, even if the end product was disappointing. That's on me for changing the theme midway. I tried a gimmick I thought of while in the bathroom. Misaligned textures, I ran out of time for.

tq for the suggestion! i've updated my dsda (previously 0.26.2) and the music now works as intended! i've also updated my map to resolve some bugs found, as per change log below. link to google drive folder is unchanged as before. tq again :)

Sorry for the double post, but I wanted to alert that there is now an update to my map. I replaced the switches with stock switches because apparently, I can't read, but I'm a bear, so I'm not sure what anyone expected. I also (not sure how) was missing my exit texture, so that's fixed, as well.

Comments: Making this was.. a bit stressful but I think the map turned out pretty good! Very surprising since I am overall terrible at making things.

The first ring is actually sort of fun. I was running low on time for the second ring so It is just a bunch of zombies. Also difficulty levels are in. I hope they are okay.

The .ogg is VILACT and SKEACT slowed down together.

Old V2 Edit: Fixed the walls of the final fight. Hopefully they won't completely sink into the lava...! Fixed some missing textures too.

Not related to my submission, but @Synami, in your Chromophore map (syn-ctd03) the locked blue & red doors aren't actually... locked. (Doesn't seem to be intentional considering that the exit hallway is behind one of them)

frankly, it still feels surreal that this project is over. everything was so fast, even the compilation! thank you again for leading this awesome project!
