The zombie soldier sprite sheets are here.  The rest of the zombies are just head swaps on a sprite originally made by @osjclatchford, it's the older version of his wight zombie, which is also here.  Both are freely available for people to use as they please!

 

By the way, I missed this thread the first time around, but if anyone misses their deadlines today, I'd love to record some zombie voices for ya!

Grizzly was the Hungry zombie. LateNightPerson was the solider. I'll put you down for the Hungry zombie but if your preference is the solider then I'll let you do that one. (do read the OP, I do have a preference in differences for how those zombies are recorded)

I'd like to try Soldier 3 if ShallowB doesn't mind taking Hungry, assuming it's not to soon to claim another one! I want to try out some oorahs and hut hut huts!

 

A case to be made for downsampling is that it sounds more consistent with Doom's existing sound effects, and while 11025Hz (or 22050Hz in rare cases) is technically lower in fidelity than 44100Hz and higher, it ends up sounding more polished and intentional in the context of a Doom mod, assuming any amount of Doom's stock sounds are still used.

I'm in the same boat rn with downsampling. Right now you can tell that everyone recorded their sounds in different environments and with different equipment. I'm hoping that 11025 Hz will make everything sound consistent.

It's honestly kind of surreal to hear so many zombies have unique lines by different voice actors, I love it!

 

The one idle chatter line I was ever iffy about with the possessed 2 zombie seems to be the only one that plays in the demo vid.
